I wanted to thank Paul Freitag for helping my wife and I understand the mortgage process, It is not all about the rate your getting but how much you understand it and why the rate is what it is. Paul explained how some lenders might have a lower rate but if you do not compare apples to apples the rates are irrelevant. We had a lender who's rate was a whole half point lower that Paul's, but it turned out that the other lender was charging us 1 point to get that lower rate. After we understood what we were getting it made a lot of sense to go with Mr. Freitag, we will be life long clients.
